WHAT WE OFFER

Basic Service: THE BEELINE

A white background with a dashed black line trail of crumpled white paper balls leading to a yellow crumpled paper ball. The paper ball is designed to resemble a light bulb. Represents the concept of taking a thought into a concept.

The shortest route from here to there.

  • A ten-question form.

  • A 30-minute call, then a one-page plan.

  • For rural and indigenous business owners and entrepreneurs, small nonprofits, and family-run businesses.

How it works

Book a free call. Thirty minutes, and you do most of the talking. During the call, we’ll talk about the “pay what you can” and barter system.

Get your Beeline. Within five business days, a one-page plan lands in your inbox. It shows where you are, where you want to be, and the handful of moves that get you there.

Keep it. The plan is yours, whether or not you ever hire us.

What comes after

If you'd like help making the moves, the work is pay what you can, or barter. You'll see what it's worth and a suggested amount, and you pick the number.

Who it's for

Owner-led businesses and startups in Tribal or rural communities: the feed store, the café, the outfitter, the maker with a waiting list and no website. Not sure you count as rural? Ask. We'd rather have the conversation than draw a line on a map.

Questions people ask

  • Is there a catch? No. Beelines are paid for by Lagniappe Hours, which are our full-fee clients fund.

  • What information should I bring? What you sell, who buys it, and whatever is keeping you up at night.

  • How many do you do? A handful each month, first come, first served. If the month is full, we'll book you into the next one.

  • Will you try to sell me something? We'll tell you what we could do next if you ask. Otherwise the plan speaks for itself.

Intermediate Service: THE SPRINTS

Origami paper animals including a lion, swan, duck, and crane, arranged from left to right against a plain background.

A finish line you can see: a plan or a finished project in about six weeks.

One goal, one deadline, done. A Sprint delivers a strategic plan or a finished project in a set amount of time, usually six weeks.

How it works

Pick the finish line. We agree on the one thing the Sprint will produce, the date it's due, and who on your team runs alongside us.

Run it together. We meet every week. You see the work as it takes shape, so there is no big reveal and there are no surprises.

Cross it. On the agreed date, you have the finished plan or project, every file, and someone on your team trained to use it.

Catch your breath. We check in 30 days later to see how it's holding up.

What a Sprint can produce

A Plan

  • Brand Strategy Sprint: positioning, core messages, and a 90-day action plan.

  • Marketing Plan Sprint: who to reach, where to find them, and what to say for the year ahead.

A Project

  • Experience Sprint: an event, a program, or a visitor journey, designed and ready to run.

  • Launch Sprint: a new program, product, or campaign, taken from idea to opening day.

Have something else in mind? If it has a clear finish line, it can probably be a Sprint.

How long it takes

Most Sprints run six weeks. That's long enough to do real work, and short enough that nobody forgets why we started. Some need less time and some need more. We settle the length before we begin, not halfway through.

Who it's for

Any organization with one important thing to get done and not enough hours to do it. That includes nonprofits, tribal programs, rural businesses, foundations, and agencies.

What it costs

Sprints follow the same pricing as everything we do: full fee, sliding scale, or pay what you can. If you qualify, Lagniappe Hours can cover a Sprint. And every full-fee Sprint funds Lagniappe Hours for a neighbor.

Questions people ask

  • What do you need from us? One point person, a weekly working session, and honest answers.

  • What if we fall behind? We adjust the scope or the date together, and we say so early.

  • Can we do more than one? Yes. A plan Sprint followed by a project Sprint is a natural pair.

  • What if I'm not sure what I need? Start with a conversation. If you’re a Tribal member or in a rural community and run - or want to start - a business, start with The Beeline by applying for free Lagniappe Hours.

Advanced Service: CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE

Multiple tangled white cords connected to wooden blocks, leading to a central lightbulb icon, then branching out to checkmark blocks on the right on a blue background, symbolizing ideas and organization.

Your map. Your route.

Some goals don't fit a Sprint or a retainer.

Tell us where you're headed, pick what you need from the menu, and we'll build one package around it.

How it works

  1. Tell us where you're headed. We start with a conversation about the goal, the deadline, and the budget.

  2. Pick your stops. Choose from the menu below. We'll tell you honestly which ones matter most and which can wait.

  3. Get one proposal. One scope, one price, one timeline, and the number of Lagniappe Hours it funds.

WHAT IT COSTS

Custom packages follow the same pricing as everything we do: full fee, sliding scale, or pay what you can. Every proposal shows what the work is worth before you choose.

Questions people ask

  • How many things can I pick? As many as the goal needs. We'd rather do three things well than nine things thinly, and we'll tell you if the list is getting long.

  • How long does it take? That depends on the stops you pick. Your proposal gives one timeline for the whole package.

  • Can I add something later? Yes. We re-scope together, and you'll see what changes in price and date before you decide.
